Colombia Las Esmeraldas Decaf Las Esmeralda coffee, from Huila, is produced solely by female producers using traditional methods to produce and process high quality coffees. To decaf this coffee, it goes through a natural sugar cane decaf process. This process uses ethyl acetate, a natural compound derived from non-GMO Colombian sugarcane and mountain water, to remove the caffeine while maintaining integrity, sweetness, and flavor of the coffee. This decaffeination process takes 24hrs.
*Production occurs twice a week on Wednesday and Thursday. Orders placed after 5:00pm Wednesday will be roasted and shipped during the next production cycle.
