Las Esmeraldas coffee, from Huila, is produced solely by female producers using traditional methods to produce and process high quality coffees. To decaf this coffee, it goes through a natural sugar cane decaf process. This process uses ethyl acetate, a natural compound derived from non-GMO Colombian sugarcane and mountain water, to remove the caffeine while maintaining integrity, sweetness, and flavor of the coffee. This decaffeination process takes 24hrs.
*Production occurs twice a week on Wednesday and Thursday. Orders placed after 5:00pm Wednesday will be roasted and shipped during the next production cycle.
