Mexico La Angostura Decaf - Mountain water decaffeination process uses water from the glaciers located at the top of Mexican mountains to remove 99.9% of caffeine present meanwhile maintaining the integrity of the coffee’s original flavor and enhances the sweetness of the final cup. The Rio Grijalva feeds into La Angostura, a dam and reservoir in Chiapas Mexico. The source of this river comes from the Guatemalan highlands, making its way into the Lagunas de Colon, then onto the dam. The Rio Grijalva provides water for coffee production, vegetables, staples, and electricity to many homes and farms in the region.
